Juandres Vera is a street artist from Mexico. While studying for his Bachelor of Visual Arts, Vera participated in a Street Art contest, winning first prize in two consecutive contests. For four years, he dedicated himself to painting decorative murals. Vera uses realism as a tool to address diverse topics such as still life, religion, and politics. He also uses visual rhetorical figures as metaphors and allegories. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in Paris, New York, Monterrey, Guanajuato, and Durango, Mexico. Vera won awards from Urban Art projects, painting both ephemeral and permanent murals in 2-D and anamorphic (3D) in the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Thailand, and Dubai.
